Default 4.1.2 vs 4.3 Stock Rom

So after waiting for 4.3 there seems to be a lot of bugs. What are peoples opinions is 4.3 actually better than 4.1.2 what advantages does it have and what are the downsides the the upgrade. There are a lot of threads discussing the bugs of 4.3 but none that I can see comparing the two. How does it compare. Has anyone done a before and after benchmark test on the upgrade. And how do they compare for real daily use. Just to be clear I'm talking about stock ROM with the stock kernel.

Phone The Xperia SP Experience

With regards to what changes have happened, you can refer to this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2703843

But then, here are my observations:

AnTuTu:
[4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254] ~21K

[4.3][12.1.A.0.266] ~23K

[4.3][12.1.A.1.201] ~23.5K (Attached Screenshot)

Camera Image Processing:
[4.3][12.1.A.1.201] [4.3] >= [12.1.A.0.266] > [4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254]

WiFi Range:
[4.3][12.1.A.1.201] [4.3] = [12.1.A.0.266] > [4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254]

RAM Management:
[4.3][12.1.A.1.201] [4.3] >= [12.1.A.0.266] >= [4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254]

Illumination Bar:
[4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254] = Working

[4.3][12.1.A.0.266] = Broken

[4.3][12.1.A.1.201] = Fixed

Real User Experience:

[4.3][12.1.A.1.201] >= [4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254] >= [4.3][12.1.A.0.266]

Battery life
[4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254] > [4.3][12.1.A.1.201] >= [4.3][12.1.A.0.266]
Generalization:

I really despised how I couldn't play Real Racing 3 on Extra High settings on my Xperia SP [4.1.2][12.0.A.2.254]. It was really laggy and force closed a lot while my Xperia V [4.1.2][9.1.A.1.145] could run it without a sweat (it drains the battery @ 1%/minute of game play though) considering the fact that Xperia V scores ~17K on AnTuTu. Besides that, I couldn't even multitask without the LMK killing Walkman and other essential apps in the background.

After upgrading my Xperia SP [4.3][12.1.A.0.266], I was really pleased at how improved stock RAM Management became although there are still some bugs left to squash such as the Illumination Bar working only with volumes <40% on Walkman as well as some visual bugs and the occasional freeze when installing apps. Playing Real Racing 3 has become a breeze even at Extra High settings, just don't turn on the WiFi lol. Multitasking improved as I could enjoy playing some music in Walkman and browsing the web using Google Chrome. RAM Management could be better though.

Recently, I upgraded my Xperia SP [4.3][12.1.A.1.201], I could say that RAM Management has become a bit better as Sony seemed to reduce the number of background apps. Playing Real Racing 3 on Extra High settings is . Never encountered any force closes so far. Illumination Bar bug has been patched as well. But then, RAM Management could be better without having to limit background apps. I currently have 64 apps installed.
