Where did you get that from? Looks like the official Samsung one with the case and design and packaging and all, but don't think that is the official one. Samsung one, the white brick says Samsung on it. If its a knock off, you never know what you are going to get.

I got lucky. It's a cheap ebay knock off but It worked the second time. The key was the post to hook on to phone after power to mhl to hdmi to tv all connected. Really good 1080i picture too! Streaming xfinity tv go just as good as from laptop.

Yes, i got the $15.99 one.
This adapter works as advertised on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and you can't beat the price for being able to watch movies on the big screen right off of your phone. Well made product.

hi guys.

i have the genuine mhl 2.0 adapter.

when i plugged it into my phone to watch a movie on the tv i plugged the power cable in also as i knew it would use a lot of battery otherwise. unfortunately the connection then started connecting and disconnecting continuosly. i unplugged the power and it was fine again.

any ideas what was going on?

Looks like the official Samsung MHL 2.0 HDTV adapter is back in stock on the Samsung website ( http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cel...ET-H10FAUWESTA). Around $25 after tax/shipping with the 50% off accessories coupon code rXu3670.

Felt a bit cheap, but the adapter worked fine without power and also charged the Note once plugged into the Note 3 power adapter using a USB cable from my old Gnex.
