Hello,

I've got a HTC One X, with vodafone branding. Now I'd like to flash Android Revolution HD on it, and remove the branding.
How should I do it? The same procedure like if my phone has no branding? (Unlock at htcdev, root & flash), or do I have to be careful and follow a different pattern because of the vodafone branding?

Thanks in advance

The only thing you need to check is your hboot, it has to be 1.3x at least. Second is to keep a stock nandroid backup of the original rom. The rest is indeed how you described it.

Unlock
Flash custom recovery
Make a nandroid backup
Install the new rom

Thanks for the quick answer.

Okay, and the branding will go away & I dont have to get a 'goldcard' or SuperCID etc.?
What about s-off?

I'm asking just to make sure, because If there's something wrong I can't return the phone. (It will void my warranty)

Nope, no goldcard and no s-off. And yes on a custom rom all branding is gone.
