Hello Everyone,

I am kinda new to all of this so if this is posted in the wrong spot, I am sorry. I have rooted my phone already and want to upgrade to Kit Kat. I have the ROM downloaded using ROM Manager as the app. Using the latest cyanogenmod mod ( cm-11-20140410-NIGHTLY-vs980 ). When I got to get into recovery mode, all I get is a Android Guy with a red triangle and an exclamation point on it. I was following the video on youtube which I can not post because I am new user however.

I put both files in the download folder on my internal memory as well.

Thanks for all the help.

Could you share screenshots of the Android icon that appears? (make picture with phone, upload to IMGUR and paste the link with spaces)

All the screen is literally is a black screen with the Android little green man laying down and a red triangle over him with an exclamation point in the center.
