I have a stock n9005 note, still on jb out of the box. I'm planning on rooting it and keep it that way until there's a safe way to root on 4.4.2.
Are there any noticeable differences, on daily usage, between the 2 os versions?
I know kk manages memory better and has other improvements under the hood, but how SIGNIFICANT is it?

To be honest i wasnt able to feel any diference at all :s, i dont know if it was me or what but it just the same, like u said theres bettery memory management and the battery icon is white... but thats pretty much it.

on a side note, it feels great to have the lastest update on your phone =D
