high temperature

Let the battery calibrate some days. im think you used your Z2 5h before the screenshot.

The phones work with a body temparature of 36degrees...to 40 thats nothing. The new SOCs never will work with cooling to 20.

well this is what Sony's support staff replied in the thread over at talk.sonymobile.com

"The phones goes through rigorous testing but as you say, high performance smartphones will generate heat when used and the phone has safety features protecting it from overheating. If the phone is used in high ambient temperature of left in the sun it may in combination with demanding apps and features give you a message about heat and then the phone will turn off functions or the phone itself to protect it."

maybe 5 minutes was too rigorous.

Only happens with 4k? can you test in other situations? like doing some heavy work with the phone and some demanding apps and then opening camera to see if you can take some photos without getting the high temperature warning?

Yes thats completly fine and no problem, it can go up to 42-45C if you use is strongly.
