Hello everybody!

I know you guys have probably read something like this hundreds of times but I don't know where else to ask,

I have an 2008 Ford Fusion and I want to install a Nexus 7 as a Dash.

The problem is I don't know where to start!

I need it to cost as little as possible.
I need it for Navigation.
I need it for music playback.
I need it to turn on/off when the car starts/turns off.
I would love for me to control it with the steering wheel.

What parts do I need and how do I wire it with the nexus?
Also 2012 vs 2013 model for a car dash?

I would really appreciate any help!

Bumping this, I'm looking to do the same on my 2002 Lexus IS300. Biggest question is how to hook up the Nexus 7 to car stereo.

If your stereo has a line in at the back then use the 3.5 mm jack on the Nexus

Nope. It doesn't have it. My car has an aux port but it doesn't work
