That settings is to fix Apollo_316's problem. Looks like the Moto X has an extra sensor for docking.

If I use this with my Nexus 5, without any cover. Will it save battery or it is negligible? Thanks

Default Galaxy S4?

I have a galaxy s4 and am trying to disable the magnetic field sensor all together. Will this module do it for me? I installed it and it doesnt seem to be working for me. Any suggestions? I have a Shark-Moto Case for my motorcycle and when i put it in the case the S-View enables blacking out the screen. I tried disabling through settings with no luck and am looking to just disable the sensor all together. Let me know! Thanks!

Nop, there should be no battery saving with this mod. It really doesnt disable the sensors (not sure if that is even possible) it just disable the code that react to those sensors.

A fellow biker!!!!
Can you post the xposed log file, I can check why it doesn't work and review the S4 code to see if there is some way around it.
Or at least try

Yea, the wife and I both ride! Love it!

Below is the xposed log however I do not see any errors. Almost as if its not even recognizing the module. Nothing changes no matter what settings I choose. Basically I have a "Shark-Moto Tank Bag" (Google) that I sit on my tank. It stays on with magnets. I want to be able to store my Galaxy S4 in it to stream my music and change songs possibly without the SView activating from contacting the magnets within the casing.

I'm willing to help with anything you need to get this going!

BTW, My Galaxy S4 is on v4.3 SCH-I545 VREUMJ7

If there are no errors in the xposed log, it means your rom has the "proper" method that the mod patch.
Just to double check, are you running the latest magnetoff mod (the one with a settings page) I posted a couple of page ago.
http://tinyurl.com/qbpjv22/MotoMagnetOff_test.apk

Maybe the S4 has some extra magnets controlled somewhere else in the code. Do you get any "related" entries in log when putting it on the tank bag? That usually helps to find what ever method that needs to be patched.

Thanks for the response. I have tried versions 1.6 the one you just gave me as well as a 1.8 neither seemed to work. i was able to get the following error to come up though. Not sure if it pertains to this module or not though. You may be able to tell though.
