I have to turn my wi-fi on mamually at home. The note3 connects with hotspots at a store or mall, but on returning home I have to connect manually.
The only difference I can see is that my wi-fi at home is password protected and the others are not

i have a Galaxy Note3 sm-b90005 with Android version 4.4.2.

Thanks for your ideas and suggestions.

Thank you for your quick reply.

There is, I think, no other way to establish a connection without entering the pw. I did, just to be sure, remove the connectiono and re-entered ir and it does insist on the pw.

Thanks

Yes there is . I have had that prob to after the update. But 8 installed instabrigde it is designed to share internet connections with friends without having to retype the paswords over and over. But the handy part is it remembers all of your pw and reconnects automaticly with the wifi connections you have puten in there. Try it you might like it.
