Hi,

I bought a HTC ONE M7 from ATT last year in Hawaii and I currently live in Australia where I cannot use Vodafone's 4G network because my phone expects LTE to be broadcasted on 700 MHZ instead of Vodafone's 1800 MHZ;

My current software is a stock android: 4.19.1540.9

My current radio is:
4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L

Is it possible to flash the radio so that it works with 1800 MHZ and where would I find the radio firmware.
I would also like to have a file of my current firmware or be able to make a backup so that I can revert in case I go back to hawaii or if something goes wrong.

Any help is much appreciated.

Matt

I haven't heard of any one successfully getting LTE on a different band by flashing a radio .

You can probably get slightly improved results in general by finding a radio specific to your carrier, but I don't believe LTE will start working.

Maybe someone else can speak more authoritatively on this.
