Default TWRP bootloop

Similar to the problem a gentleman had a few topics down.

HTC One m8 stuck in TWRP bootloop, flashed newest version for the device, booted into system fine, goofed around for a minute, then when I went to flash SuperSU in recovery, it says it successful but could not mount cache. Now it's in a TWRP bootloop, is there anyway out of this.

Would flashing a custom ROM correct any of this? I was going for the GPe eventually. But for a temporary fix. Any toolkits that could correct this. Coming from a nexus 5, felt that phone was waaay more flexible. Thanks in advance

So the question actually lies in, You are stuck in TWRP but you can't boot into your ROM? What guide did you follow when putting TWRP on your device? There was a guide that I followed and the problem lied in the code they told me to put in while flashing TWRP. All I had to do afterwards was flash a rom and it would work. But following that, I lost Recovery. It was because it told me to flash it to the boot sector rather than the recovery sector. If you need me to elaborate I will.
