Hello,
Recently my beloved HTC Sensation broke and since it was no longer made, it was replaced with a g2 which so far I have no complaints about, but there was this one rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2531054 made by team venom which I loved. It was essentially the stock jellybean android with the sense (I know there is no sense for samsung) just lightened with more customization. So far the only roms I have found have been CM based, AOKP or AOSP which I am not as big of a fan of just based on the fact, that at least with the sensation the stock rom with some tweaks performed much better than other roms. Please feel free to inform me that other rom versions perform better on the g2 than stock, currently I am on the factory ics with some crap removed by TI and Setcpu to underclock it to squeeze some battery life out of it and even on powersave gov it is snappy. Thanks

I'm not going to make any statements regarding performance - that's for you to determine for yourself. If you want stock JB, you should be looking in the development thread for version 4.1.2. The most current touchwiz work seems to be from Rushing (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2670624). I haven't used his roms, but many people have given favourable reviews.

ptmr3 produced a favourite JB rom awhile back: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1818305

I have been using NorthernTouch v1.3, but v1.4 is available (mirror link) here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2279348

If you're on T-mobile and use wifi calling, you might want to be looking specifically for roms based on UVMC6 rather than TLUMC4, which is from Telus. Happy flashing!

The ptmr3 rom looks like exactly what I want, I might be getting to greedy here but can I change music with long presses of the volume rocker while the screen is locked? I didn't see that on there.
Also I dont see wifi calling but I hope im mistaken.

I could be wrong, but I think there's an Xposed module that can do volume rocker music control. Wifi calling is not something I ever look for, so you're on your own there. Time to do some of your own searching.
