Default Downgrade the Modem to MK2

My wife is running stock TW 4.4.2 (Modem - NB4) and she is constantly losing cell coverage. The signal bars change to zero with line through it and she cannot make / receive calls. Prior to the upgrade to NB4 she was doing just fine. I was thinking of just trying to install the previous modem (M919UVUEMK2).

Would prefer not to root / or use a custom ROM for her phone. Can I just download the MK2 modem and install via Odin?
