I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure it worked normally before the recent OTA update.

If you use HTC backup linked to Dropbox or Drive, you don't have to fret a Factory Reset too much. HTC backup will restore just about everything automatically, including home screen set up and widgets, apps, wifi connect points and settings. It works great!
