XT1032 - 4.4.2 - Retail US / Global GSM 3.4.0-gc6fc9e1 (Feb 2014) is from system version 174.44.1.

I've added a note about this to the OP. The only compatibility issue regarding XT1032 is related to the Google Play Edition Moto G.
The GPE kernel will only work with the GPE firmware, and cannot be substituted.
There are no known issues flashing an XT1032 radio from any region to any other.

@drfr, I was thinking of creating a thread in Development regarding backing up IMEI / pds partition. AFAIK, there is no way to brick a Moto G, making wiping IMEI the most serious problem someone can get into. And it's people coming to /Dev and flashing that are most susceptible. But I think perhaps the new FAQ entry is enough.

You misunderstand, I did not fix a corrupted or lost IMEI. Look in threads related to that for an answer.

Hi,

I have read this thread and i am still unsure about my question.
I have a XT1032 but i want to use on a carrier with AWS only. Can I flash the XT1034 radio to make the AWS operational.

Thanks in advance.

Unknown. The XT1034 "AWS" Moto G almost certainly has a different radio chip, but it's also not impossible AWS frequencies are merely disabled other models. There are tutorials for other converting other devices on XDA. If flashing the radio doesn't work, maybe try flashing the entire firmware image.

When posting, state: Model (XT10XX), Android version, Country, Baseband version and current Firmware (i.e Carrier or Retail) and in the case of kernels: version info.
