You could try that. Maybe a data factory reset followed by flashing the super zip in recovery will do the trick.

I just flashed the superSU zip and now I can open the app and ES explorer can get root access. We will see how we go.

Have you tried uninstall it from playstore?.
Not sure if flashing the zip will work as you previously install supersu from playstore which is higher version than the zip. Worth a try if there is no other way.
