Same issue after uninstall Viper... strange, MAHDI it's not the first ROM that gives me these issues, only Stock works perfect (except once when I installed a AC!D Mod)!

I was hopping that someone with same problems could give me some clue....

Try flashing rom and not installing any sound mods

Got the same problem with you with the 07/04 version and francomod. :crying:

EDIT1: I think I found a workaround. Give me a minute. :D

EDIT2: You have to choose manually your telecom provider under settings (Settings >> (under wireless & networks tab) More... >> Mobile networks >> Network operators). I have tried twice and it now works.

EDIT3: The third time got stuck at 3G. Damn

I got a new record for display time with this rom and matrx linaro mod. Wifi always on, a lot of internet surfing, took 5 photos, telephonecall for 5 minutes, watching videos for about 15 minutes.
My best before with other roms was about 5 hours. This is really great.

Did some tweaks in governor settings, not much and buildprop settings.

AND set BLX to 85%, so with full battery charge is even more possible.

I can't get anywhere close to that. Do some of you use your phones where you have a ultra strong signal for the majority of the use?

I'm not able to connect my a2dp stereo Bluetooth headset. Is that a known issue.
Running 3/21 with glitchmod kernel.

Hi,

Sorry to go back again with this issue, but I've just dirty flashed the MAHDI 15/4 ROM and (only with the DSP Manager app) I still have the cracking noise....

I think that I've identified the problem and I ask if anybody else notice it....

It's only when the screen goes off until I unlock the phone, then the noise stops, I've also installed "Go Locker" and I don't have any sound problem...

Very strange and at first don't make much sense but it's the only way I avoid that annoying cracking sound, this is apparently a lock screen problem and has I mentioned it's not the first time that I notice, so it's not a problem of MAHDI ROM.

Can any one recommend a good lock screen, more similar with native one?

NOTE: The problem it's independent of music player...

I get a cracking noise when I'm doing an intensive process and music.
But I don't know any anyone Lockscreen replacements, sorry I can't help you with the problem.

Interesting, I get that too on Dirty unicorns which I just built. so far, all the roms I have built did not have that crackling sound. by the way, I tried various bluetooth adapters and some have it, other work just fine.

I'm guessing it's a bluetooth stack thing. All cm-based roms don't have that for me right now. carbon, slim, cm, pac. but aosp based do have it. DU and I'll be flashing this rom in a few minutes

    How to install
    Installing Mahdi-Rom for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
    - Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/Team Win Recovery Project - WITH SELINUX SUPPORT! (I used Philz Touch which worked fine)
    - Copy GApps and ROM ZIP to your SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash Mahdi-Rom zip from SDCard
    - Flash GApps zip from SDCard
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
    (I don't know why, but here is an alternative: HERE)

    Upgrading from an earlier version:
    - Copy the ROM ZIP to your SDCard (No need to wipe anything., it'll do it for you)
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash the ROM zip from SDCard
    - Reboot
