Hi, the ROM works very well.. Performance is far superior than other ROM's I have tried.. There are a few things I have noticed tho.

1.Is it just me, or emoticons are not working on hangouts?
2. Is there any way to configure the CPU overclock to keep settings on reboot?

I dont use hangouts...but in the device control section. Scroll down to the bottom and pick Preferences...apply at boot for CPU.

About hangout, you are correct. It seems the emoticon "fonts" are missing. Will check it. Thai fonts are missing as well.
Will check this.

Hello Sir, great to see u final managed to build a kk ROM for us! And thx that u keep on with kaspers work!

The ROM is really smooth and stable so far, no problems after 1day of usage and even with 1000mhz it's flyin!
Battery life seems to be great on this, after 1 day and 6h with 3,5h screen on time i still have 50% that's amazing!
Only thing i recognized, is that camera gives me only 3mp resolution

Hi Beegee. Thanks for taking over this rom and thanks to Kasper for starting it.

I hope to take it for a spin over the weekend and see if it is worthy of replacing Ganbarou.

On a side note..I beleive your md5 signature in the OP might be wrong for the p4wifi (p7510). I downloaded the rom 5 times and they all came back with a md5 of ( b1d9e81051e98c7d31867585944adc5e ). So I went ahead and flashed it. It booted fine and has had no problems, so it must be a good download.Leading me to beleive the OP md5 might be wrong. Just a heads up.

To flash this ROM, do I need to install a special bootloader or CWM? I'm already on the newest stock rooted, with the newest CWM recovery that ROM Manager has available and SuperSU.

I ask because most of the root / flash stuff in this forum seems pretty stale, and the original KitKat development thread suggests that some craziness was needed to shrink recovery, etc

Nice work BeeGee! Thank you for keeping this up for our tablet. Could you please update the title of the thread with the latest build date? Just makes it a lot easier to follow which version this thread is on without having to go back to the OP every time.

    What does NOT work?
    There are graphical glitches.
    Although they mainly have been solved there seem to be some remaining issues with hwcomposer that may crash the tab.

    Smoothness advice:
    Go to performance settings:
    Overclock CPU (Do this at your own risk!)
    Keep governor on Interactive
    Set minimum speed to 400MHz (credits for this tip goto Jaegermeiste)

    Go to developer settings:
    Activate "Force GPU rendering"
    Active "Disble HW-overlays"
    Set background process limit to 4 processes

    (if performance/developer options are not yet shown, go to settings>about and press build number 7 times)

    Some other tips:
    For improvement of sound quality, you can use Viper4Android
    For more volume only, SpeakerBoost is earier to use
    For netflix, head over here: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=49208063&postcount=445
    To be able to use Flash player, use a browser that doesn't use the kitkat browser engine (e.g. firefox can be used).
    Download flash player from adobe website (thanks to AAccount for finding out!).
    If you can't see your internal SD on PC: Go to Settings -> Storage -> 3 dot menu -> tick MTP.
    If Google Voice Search crashes: Under the Google now settings select voice options and tick the box next to Bluetooth headset. This will prevent Google now from crashing. (credits to Olivier V)

    Disclaimer:
    I was compiling several ROMs for Samsung Galaxy devices.
    With KitKat coming up I was able to maintain my ROMs for the S4, but was not successful with a ROM for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500).

    Thanks to the incredible support of kasper_h I was able to take over his work and create this KitKat ROM for the tablet!
    Unfortunately he discontinued the work on this ROM because he will move on to a more advanced tablet.
    I wish him great success with his new tablet and want to thank for his work for the 10.1 tablet!
    With kasper_h agreement I take over and will maintain future updates of this ROM.

    Want to build the ROM by yourself?
    You can build the ROM complete with the NamelessROM sources.
    Just get the sources from GitHub.
    If you want to build the ROM with my experimental extensions then you need to use some of my repos:

    Request
    Please try to record logcat when the problem occurs and post a link here. That makes it easier to find problems.
    Catlog is really easy to use:
    1. Install Catlog
    2. Start Catlog before you start the apk that makes problems
    3. Accept request for root access
    4. Press "X in a circle" to clear current log
    5. If stopped, press ">" to start logging
    6. After recording press "||" to stop logging
    7. After recording press 3-dot menue
    8. Select "Save" or "Sichern" to save the log
    9. Accept file name
    10. The logcat is saved in the folder sdcard/catlog/saved_logs
    11. Put this file somewhere on the net where I can access it (e.g. Dropbox)

    About the kernel
    The current HOMEMADE version uses the kernel provided by twa_priv.
    The NIGHTLY builds still use the kernel provided by kasper_h. The V1.09 build is a test if the new kernel shows advantages over Mackay kernel.
    This ROM features the Mackay kernel (it is a kernel named ICS_2014, because kasper_h worked on this kernel for stock ICS and CM9 as well).
    The zram code has been optimized (based on google advice for low-RAM devices) and is enabled by default.
    kasper_h also improved the OC code and changed voltages.
