Would aluminum battery door covers effect signal strength?

I'm also wondering if they would affect the conductivity between a wireless charger and a receiver under the cover

Aluminum/metal *usually* drops signal dB a little bit.
The last time I tried to use a metal battery cover, my LTE speeds went down from ~20MB to ~12MB.
Who knows how it was effecting GPS.

Yes.Metal cover will weaken signal.
