Searched a bit but didn't find anything: anyone know if there's a youtube on this at all? I'm pretty new to this entire process overall and I'd like to be sure of my steps. Going about step 3 in particular cloudy for me.

Thank you!

This is a moded EPST that will allow you to manually update you PRL , this is for this rom (sense 5).
Also you need to change your build.prop
Code:
ro.build.type user
to
ro.build.type dev
and you need to have your MSL.

PS- I know you dont need instructions CAP this is for all the others, LMAO!
I apologize if this is in the place, but does this still work on Chubbz' V4? I followed the exact steps I used to get to work on V3, but I'm not having any luck on V4 and can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong.

Weird. I tried that method because it didn't work "out of the box". I'm going to redownload in case it came down bad and do a clean install again.

Is there a new TWRP? I notice the Cap's profile lists TWRP 2.7.0.6b for jewel, though the link leads back here...

There isn't a new one posted, but that doesn't mean I'm not still building and testing.

But...testing on what? I thought that your Evo was bricked? Or do you have your testers?

My test EVO is bricked, yes (and it's not even really my device anyway). My personal Jewel, which is used as my house phone on RingPlus works fine, but because it's the house phone I can't flash ROMs to it all the time. That phone has to be stable and always on. I can turn it off for a few seconds to flash a recovery to and make sure it's working. I can test whatever features were added and confirm (quickly) that nothing got broken, but that's it. I still don't have one to do ROM testing on.

Dees_Troy actually told me a bunch of stuff isn't working in my recovery, so I may rebuild it with the Omni kernel. But I'll see, because I thought adb was working in there fine.

Well, the broken features aren't things that I use often (if ever).

I actually fix phones for fun and profit...been thinking about repairing a cracked jewel off eBay, would you like to take it if I did so?
