If you meant to earlier Android Versions like 4.3 or 4.2 could be difficult because of new 4.4 bootloader (EFS, etc.)!

Seriously ? Like its not possible anymore to return to stock firmware for instance ?

You can always go back to a previous version of android just using odin and a samsung stock firmware (to be sure check repartition in odin). The procedure is always the same you can find some guides around here... Before using odin make a backup of efs partition, just in case.

Thanks, tried it. Didn't work. Unticked Repartition and it worked perfectly.

For using repartition you need a pit file for our device
I think it's better to not use it unless you want a "deep cleaning"
