Default Music player that sees USB/OTG

I want to use my S4 as a music player in my car. The audio and control would be using bluetooth. I want to get a high capacity (128GB) USB flash drive for the storage. I have an OTG cable and it works fine for file access. I can also play music from it, but not using a full control music app like rocket or jet audio or google's music player. I want the full screen app, not just a toast sized mini player.

Anyone got this rigged up?

Don't know what you mean by mini music player. Why don't you use a 128gb micro sd?

Poweramp? Or use something like stickmount to mount the USB drive and then use Rocket Player or whatever other player you want to use. Not sure what you mean by mini player. Post a screenshot.

I can't find a music player that looks into the OTG USB to add music to a library. Even with the USB mounted via stickmount. Perhaps the OTG is defective. I can use it for file access on the GS4 but my wife's N7 doesn't see it.

Have you tried power amp? I don't use OTG but I use poweramp and within that I can add folders and such from my sources. It should appear as a drive on that.
