flash carbon rom with impulse r6 kernel

im beginner

and i dont know how flash kernel with a rom

my method that i do this:
1- install kernel ( for example: terra silent) with odin
2 copy rom in to ext-sd and flash it with choose zip file
but i feel this is wrong

my work is wrong?

plz help me

plz explain step by step for install carbon rom with impulse r6 kernel

if i install carbon with impulse r6 kernel ; Is this a good result ? and what is changed ?

The way of installing Carbon is exactly the same as flashing CM if you have already done so. In the case you haven't, it is basically what you've said. Only thing that you would need to check is to backup your efs (even though the installation zip should backup it). In that case you won't have further problems later.

For impulse, after you've set-up your Carbon ROM, you can take the zip containing impulse and flash it using the same way.
