Ok, now I'm confused. How can I flash the JB 4.3 update if I can't access cwm?

Oops, sorry I got lost and forgot what your issue was.

Download the stock recovery from the link
Try just booting the stock recovery from command line to see if it will boot first.
Fastboot boot recovery.img
If it boots then flash it.
Once that is good put the update (for the bootloader) in the root and reboot to recovery and it should automatically flash it.

Now you have the updated bootloader you can Fastboot boot the CWM recovery to make sure that is good. If it is then flash it.

download the correct SKU from asus. Like US CN TW etc. Then extract the zip should be call something something user zip.

Place that on the sd card, then reboot

When it boots up there will be notification on the drop down prompting you that the tablet found a update.

Go ahead and click it and let it do it's thing

I've done just that it asked me wether I would like to update. After that it reboots, but I've stil got the old bootloader. :banghead:

Has that something to do with that I have flashed the stock recovery? Can I flash the bootloader via SDK?

use the microSD update method.

with the stock recovery in place...

download the appropriate SKU .zip from ASUS (10.26.1.18)
unpack .zip you downloaded
format microSD to fat32
rename the .zip from the unpack as T4_SDUPDATE.zip and place it on the root of the microSD card.
stick it in.
reboot recovery or reboot in to bootloader and select RCK.

it should detect after a short while and update.
