Default lost need help rooting

I have an HTC DNA on the latest software from VZW. 3.06.605-4 android 4/2/2

I have run Firewater and gotten S-Off. But i'm not sure where to go from here.

How do i get boot loader and root?

all i really want is to get root with SU and busybox so i can use my unlimited data to use wifi tether..

any help would be appreciated.

Flash a custom recovery and flash the latest su zip to obtain root from the su website. Then you will have root and can install busy box from the market. I believe if you use any of beaups methods your bootloader is already unlocked with soff. Flash a custom recovery with flashing or via adb and you can install root.

Ok, you can get into your hboot without root. Just restart while holding down volume down and you will enter you hboot/bootloader/fastboot menu. I would suggest using a combination of rumrunner and the dna toolkit, both available here on the forum. If you need further help just reply back. If you want to install a custom recovery I would suggest using twrp either download that directly or through something like goomanager (available on the playstore). You don't need a custom recovery unless you plan on running custom roms.

Hope this helps.
