said, you need stock recovery to take an OTA... NEVER take an OTA if you have custom recovery installed, it will softbrick your device (the state you are in now).
On another note, why flash a custom recovery if you are on a stock ROM? There isn't really much of a benefit to it in that case if your not flashing a custom ROM, unless you are doing nandroids, and if you did one just restore it and you should be good to go.
