Hi,
I accidently wiped everything on my phone while flashing and had to install MLG, and I was trying to restore to MJ5, which I have actually done before successfully. However, now the Heimdall doesn't work at step 5 and instead says "The parameter is incorrect" with something about 87. Anyone have any idea why? All the files are with correct MD5 that I used successfully before=(
P.S. by everything I mean EVERYTHING including external sd while in SS - I know, I wasn't thinking.
sorry this might be a dumb question but can i use this method if im on 4.3, Build-Number:JSS15J.N900AUCUBNB4 BaseBand: N900AUCUBNB4? thank you for the work you have done whether I can use it or not it seems to be very useful.
verify you installed vcredist_x86.exe (vcredist_x64.exe)
verify you or in Download mode with the phone,
verify your see your phone with zadig and installed the driver
in heimdall verify you went to utility tab and clicked detect
I figured it out! It was step 4 with zadig.exe - I had to change the driver from WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385) to libusb0 (v1.2.5.0) for heildall to connect to the phone. Now it's running beautifully=)
A buddy Keeps getting failed on downloading pit file in hemdall, any ideas? Tried this 3 times, dll is there, phone in download mode, file is on sdcard
