Im running a VERY VERY heavily modded Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (Wouldn't even consider this a kindle any more...) with CM11, and i was wondering if there is any way to get the double tap to wake functionality on my kindle..?

I can use init.d or xposed (if it exsist ..?)

Much Thanks.

I believe it'll be easier for me because of the way I use the tablet, rather than reaching up to the top (or side) every time.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2273172 the kernel listed is for KFHD7 but the double tap to wake down a bit in the OP might work. You can post there and ask that question or make a TWRP backup and give it a try.
