Default [Q] Relay Vs iPhone 5

Is there a way to make the relay as smooth as the iPhone 5? Both were released at the same time yet I notice that the iPhone is alot smoother, more fluid, and better performing than the Relay (and I'm running the newest ApexQ rom). I dont know if changing to Liquid Smooth will be better.

A lot of this may be a matter of specification disparity. Iphone5 was a flagship phone. Apexq is a midrange phone. As much as I wish it was a tier 1 device, it is not.
