My Sprint GS5 takes around 1 1/2-2 hrs to charge form 10% up to 100%. How do I enable USB 3.0 mode so my phone will charge faster? Thanks in advance.

That's about right. It's got a big battery and if you use it while it's charging remember that it's also discharging at the same time.

Sprint - Galaxy S5 - Moto X - Nexus 7 LTE

Generally slow charging is better for batteries anyway.

Charging faster creates more heat which impacts longevity of the battery.

Grant it we are not talking like OMG in 6 months you will need a new one but a battery that is always slow charged will generally outlast one that is quick charged. Now by how much, that I can't say but just sayin lol
