You musst donate me 100€ , after this i make it visible for you :D
I wish I had them! You really deserve them ;)

Ok, joking aside , i don't Know , do you use Gravity ? Maybe that's the reason.
No, I do not use Gravity.
Maybe changing from CM kernel to KT one could do this?
If so, is there a property that I should change in a xml file to bring the icon back?

The only thing I have noticed with new weekly is booting up very long. i am used to it on initial startup, but not on reboot.
Yeah. For me too.

No, it's nothing Kernel related. I am sure that's not the reason.

Do you have usb debuging turn off and on a few times? I think i had this before some time but not sure, that's things which I do not really eighth :)

Hey @Technical mind telling me what theme that is and how you got it going?
I use HKTheme manager of XPosed with, generally, 3 themes:
Simplex: com.mac.theme.Simplex
Gem: com.mac.theme.gem
Simplex Blue: com.mac.thme.Simplex.blue

I'm absolutely sure that I've got them free. I've searched the Google Play Store and they seem to be listed as payed.
Maybe I've got them here on xda :D

@Tylog, jokes apart, if you discover what makes my beloved icon to disappear, don't forget to warn me :D
You tried without HKThemes and/or proceed by elimination with some others Xposed modules + maybe no Xposed framework installed? My first thought, but i couldn't try to reproduce for now, would be theme dunno..
Another thing that could block usb debug notification could be a build.prop tweak like "persist.adb.notify=0" but i can't see why you would have this on your SlimKat build.prop unless something, mod or whatever, did it.
(Edit:To pursue on this "persist.adb.notify=0" track also check:
/default.prop
/system/default.prop (if exists)
/data/local.prop (if exists)

Jup, it has a better processor, so it naturally IS faster. I must admit i didn´t expect it to be that noticeable.
Really liked the S4 due to the external SD card but it would be hard to "go back" to the slower phone. Nexus 5 is really extremely fluid, and i have the exactly same setup as i had with my S4 (Slimkat 4.6 with the same gapps installed). Even with Alucard it wasn´t as smooth. Sorry! :cowboy:

I didn't expect there to be that much difference between a SD 800 en 600. I mean, the S4 is already so fluid.
Maybe the memory througput is higher?

Anyway, couldn't live with my configurable HW-keys :D

Hi guys, thanks for this great rom.

however, just a few comments, and issues that I am facing. Perhaps someone can chime in to advise me on where the problems may lie.

My phone seems to drain battery a lot quicker than when i was running stock touchwiz 4.4, and i cant even last a day anymore when i used to be able to. Also, the phone seems to run a lot hotter for some reason, when also previously it didnt. No rogue apps taking excessive power or anything of that sort so I am not sure what's wrong. It also seems to charge a lot slower when nothing else has changed. Any idea whats wrong?

thanks in advance.

Bad flash maybe? Bad download? I would try redownloading and flashing again, minding the checksum. Also, would be sure and wipe data/factory reset. Something is definitely wrong there

This problem happened to me also, here is the reason that was causing it for me. The flash somehow got the CPU stuck on a non-hotpligging governor = 4 cores are always active. That causes high battery drain and heat and can't be detected with usual methods. Try flashing KT kernel and setting ktoonservativeq governor to fix it.

Guys, what are the codenames for Nexus 5 and LGG2? I'm considering replace my S4 with one of these two, but need to know first is there SlimKat for G2 :) If there isn't then my choice is clear :)

For your information, the CyanogenMod download page is extremely useful when it comes to that (codenames) :D.

Nexus 5 - hammerhead
LG G2 - d802

But hey, why would you jump ship to the Nexus 5 or G2? They'll be rather obsolete before the year's end... I know, the Nexus 5 is a great form factor and feels nice in the hand. But have you seen the OnePlus One? $349 for 64 GB ...

Yeah, "smarthone slayer", I know what you mean. Parameters better than S5, price a half of S5 :) but I guess we'll have to wait for developers support. Meanwhile G2 seems to be a good choice :)

About " Slim is Dead "

I put this Posting in the OP and change the Thread Titel so all can read it and i hope this stops the asking and the Questions.

We read in the last weeks many times questions, statements, about SlimRoms when it goes on or is Slim Dead.

    To clear it.

We write in the last weeks many Times taht we have a lot of changes done, Team Intern , Personnel, software, hardware. These are all things that need time / have needed. Completed about 90% of the process.

People ask why nothing happens in the Gerrit.

We changed the whole system and you can find the Gerrit now here

About next Alpha Build. There are some things to fix before the next Build come out. It makes no sense to push a build when we know about some issues, all in the team working hard on lollipop.

I have to work now this week, after this week i have holidays, i look that i find this week some time, on Thursday i work only a half day , if not and nick found no time then in my holidays. Before Christmas time always a lot work that i will finish before i go to holidays.

I never forget the S4 thread and you guys and i do my best to make you happy soon with a new Build.

    Greetings.
