I tried watching it once, it was like 1000 characters introduced in one episode. And the entire theme just seemed like a bad copy of Lord of the rings.. :/
That's when I started Breaking bad and by the time I finished it, I had no intention of returning to GoT.

Yeah no matter how many seasons I watch, nothing is going to beat Breaking Bad. What an epic depth in the character. GOT is all together a different genre but I don't think so it will get even closer to BB. Now they are just dragging the story.

Fargo the series. Three episodes in so far and they've been awesome. Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Hanks and the relatively unknown Allison Tolman, who is absolutely fantastic to watch. Great show!

Three of my favourites are Boss, starring Kelsey Grammer, Life, starring Damien Lewis and Deadwood, starring Ian McShane. They are all awesome and all ended before their time for one reason or another. Terriers, starring Donal Logue was another one that was really good, but that ended after only one season unfortunately. If you like Jazz, Treme will be right up your street. It was created by David Simon, the guy responsible for The Wire, and even shares many of the same cast.

The new Fargo should be on your list too as well as The West Wing, which will always be to me the best TV show ever. Justified, Sons Of Anarchy, Community, Weeds, The Shield, Freaks And Geeks, Southland and Louie are also noticeably absent.

I don't know why that list is basically everything drama.
Comedy is highly underrated. Just because the TV show is based on the same cliche of "friends hanging out", they are still pretty damn good on their own & different too.
So, in my order of preference

1. Friends
2. South Park
3. Brooklyn 99
4. Entourage
5. Chuck
6. Modern Family
7. The Big Bang Theory
8. The IT Crowd
9. Grimm
10. Cheers!

Except 9th title all are pretty much comedy.
Entourage is sort of a dramedy though but it is a MUST WATCH for Jeremy Piven.
All my drama or scifi recommendations are already in your list!

Decided I had soem time to kill, thought I'd try Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Not bad. Bit weird, though, since I watched the Captain America 2 film first.... Timeline's a bit.. off. (Don't worry, no spoilers here.)
