Hi
I rooted my S5830i then moved onto add CWM this one ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2583845 )
was sure it was correct version.
After flash and reboot am stuck in boot loop samsung logo no further.
i can get back into recovery but cannot seem to flash a clean rom.

Recovery reports

Appling muti-CSC-
E:failed to mount /system (invalid argument)
E:failed to mount /system (invalid argument)

tried reflashing CWM
and tried to flash a couple of roms
nothing seems to work always get samsung logo and boots no further.

Really appreciate some assistance.

Thanks in advance
Zeb

Thumbs up
that is for S5830 not s5830i

i attached CWM5 which is the latest and currently stable CWM for Ace-i

The GT-S5830i CWM.zip is a temporary CWM, which means once you restarted your phone, your recovery will be reverted to stock recovery.

here is how to make CWM permanent

1. Go To Stock Recovery [Home + Vol Up + Power]
2. install from SD Card
3. Locate GT-S5830i CWM.zip and flash

after that you will be booted to CWM Recovery

4. install from SD Card
5. Locate Permanent CWM.zip and flash
6. reboot

now you have a permanent CWM

NOTE: the Permanent CWM.zip has some apps with it like a very outdated SuperSU, DroidWall and No Frills. So you must reflash your Custom ROM to get rid of it

CREDITS TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THE CWM ZIPS ..

HIT THANKS IF I HELPED
