Download Xposed installer and GravityBox for JB. Install and activate the module. In GravityBox go to status bar tweaks and check the "enable double tap to sleep" box. Reboot. I also put the double tap to wake in the Universal Init.d program so it starts with the phone and long press on the menu mapped to the power menu so I almost never have to touch the physical side button.

Thanks guys. I know that it's possible with Xposed. Just wanted to have it in the Kernel... Anyway, I installed v4.2 and doubletap2wake is always there from the start. No need to add additinal doubletap2wake patch!
