Hey all,

Much to my surprise after using the s3 international version... The dock row on the S5 Australian version is locked.
Samsungs support said "That's just how it is."

So, anyone happen to know of a root method for the SM-G900I or if one happens to be in the works?

Need to work out how to fix this as it's ****ting me right off.

Thanks!

Same here. Ive had to install Nova. I wonder if a custom rom will help get around this.

Just flash the taiwan firmware over the top it unlocks the dock and other things locked in the aussie firmware.

Also this doesn't void warranty or trip knox

I haven't had any issues with 4g but if you are experiencing issues you can flash the taiwan firmware and the unzip the xsa aussie firmware and then flash the 2x modem files via odin but click on cp instead of pda.

Found a potential solution here:

Worked exactly as required.

Although I am liking novalauncher.

I like having the option though.
