My phone was off the charger for 1 day and 23 hours before I charged it and it still had 35% left. This battery is crazy! Running stock rooted with power save on

Turn off NFC and GPS if you don't use them all the time. Major battery drainers. Use WiFi if available

Well obviously I use them, or they wouldn't be on.

I'm just saying people are raving about the battery life, but with the 'standard' features enabled, this phone battery is just like all the rest...

You use gps and nfc while sleeping? Lol.

Just joking, but I agree with others... Turn off those things while not in use and it significantly improves battery life. I turn off bluetooth unless I'm in the car or using a speaker and it helps a ton.

I don't use Google now it has never actually done anything functional for me. Sure its cool, but not functional. Certainly not worth the ridiculous battery drain it causes. If you must use it, turn off location reporting and use wake lock terminator to block all the NLP wake locks it causes.

Don't use WiFi unless your screen is on because it causes wake locks. LTE goes into a low power state on idle. Turn off all other radios unless you need them and use battery saver mode for location settings.
