US carrier will support the phone but they will not ( or maybe ) provide the phone as contract ( or without contract ).

I already have the phone with T-Mobile and I'm living in US.

It's kinda a good news, think about the freedom you're gonna have to unlock the bootloader, custom ROMs, etc. i don't really care about carrier provided phones anyway. I've been using unlocked/imported phones for many years.

It would be nice if it will have a 32gig version...but it will suck if it becomes like the Z1s that's made of plastic.
