Hello,

Allow me to explain the problem from the very beginning...

a) I just rooted by Note 2 using the CF-Autoroot and Odin method, and then installing
SuperSU from the Play Store. It worked flawlessly!

b) Then I tried to flash MJ5 bootloader using Dr Ketan's method here using Odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2789

I got the fail message and the phone went into "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue.
Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" error mode

c) I did a recovery using kies as suggested. Phone came back to normal.

d) After this I tried the Odin and CF-Autoroot method again. Now Odin says Pass!,
but the phone is still unrooted!

e) Then I tried Ketan's Multitool and renamed the knox files to knox.bak and rooted with it.
Didn't work

g) Then again I used the Multi tool and tried to remove the knox files and rooted with it.
This time it worked. After first restart, it says root successful.

But after some time, it again goes back to "phone doesn't have root access"
and becomes unrooted automatically.

And this has happened many times.

What should I do to keep the phone rooted?

What's causing it to become unrooted automatically?

Thanks for your help.

This might be occured because of JB v4.3 Knox, Update your SuperSu and Scripts after when you'll reboot phone, Oper SuperSu, It'll ask you to disable Knox, disable it.

Flash this zip: http://download.chainfire.eu/396/Sup...etrieve_file=1.

Already tried it.

Will flash the file you gave and see if it works.

But my question is I removed the Knox files while rooting with Multitool, right?
Can they still come back after being removed?

Maybe there's some other file that's restoring these deleted knox files back.

That's just a SuperSU scripts and app update, for v4.3 JB they've provided new security for their devices this will helps alot on 4.3 or 4.4.x for updating SuperSU.

I've tried it on my N7100 worked very well.

Didn't work.

Flashing supersu in recovery mode seemed to do the trick for a while.
But now my phone is back to unrooted status again.

Hoping someone can give a solution to my problem.

If all else fails, then flash a prerooted stock.

[Galaxy Note 3 - Dr.Ketan's K6 ROM]
[Galaxy Note 2 - DN3 v4 RC2]
[Xperia Neo L - Customized Stock ICS]
