Default aCalendar+

I have a Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 with the app aCalendar+ I bought. My girlfriend has the same with the same app. The problem with her is that the widget from the app won't stick to the homescreen. Emailed Tapir the developer for it and they say that it is a Samsung well known bug. Does anyone have the same problem? Or maybe a solution on how to fix this?

Works fine here, but i use it with the Nova Launcher. You can test it, too.

tnx 4 reply but

It is not that the app won't work. The app itself works fine. It is just that the 4x4 widget will not stick to the homescreen. I have had the same problem to, but for some reason it worked on my phone. But whatever I try on her phone it will not work....
