Default [Q] OTA Update with Recovery Boot

Hi,

i have a German Telekom HTC One M8 with stock-rom, it's rooted and recovery installed.

There is an OTA update from HTC, but if i try to install this, i always come to recovery mode and the update don't get installed. How do i install this update?
Sorry for this noob question, but i'm pretty new to android and in "lern mode"

Thank you for your help!

You have to have the stock recovery installed to accept an OTA update

If you have a question, great - but DO NOT PM ME WITH IT!!! | [GUIDE] Return your EU M8 to 100% Stock (S-OFF Required)

They are specific to your software build. What are you on at the moment?

You can download the ota without stock recovery. Then just extract the recovery from the firmware.zip which is in the ota zip file. It saves to downloads folder when you download it.

Then flash it. Then apply the ota.

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using xda app-developers app
