Simple question. I'm about to pull the trigger on ZU, but would like to know panel type.

Ugh, that's annoying, as I don't want to root. Especially for just one thing. Arent't there other ways to find out panel type? (AUO vs Sharp)

As I know you have 2 options 1 with terminal and second with root Explorer but in both cases you need root
I have sharp panel but from what I found on forums both panels are great

Too bad there is no app out there that can identify all the specifications. In the Playstore some apps will pop up after searching 'hardware information', but pretty sure they can't identify the panel type on the ZU. I'd like to identify and analyze the panel on the day I will receive it, so I can return if it is one of the panels that have poor contrast (600:1 instead of +- 1000:1)
