So I bought this to have on my watch as I'm not a fan of rubber straps...

Now when I received it the strap covers the heart rate sensor so was a bit useless in day to day use for me as I use it a lot.

So I measured things up, cut a notch in both straps and heated the cut area over a flame to seal the edges and voila!

I'm quite pleased with the result and the heart rate sensor works fine. I'll have to unstrap to charge but that's not a biggie really.

The heart rate sensor still has to touch your arm though.

The sensor doesn't have to touch your skin to work. As long as its not too far away it will pick it up fine. The sensor uses the light to measure your pulse so as long as the sensor can pick it up it will work.

Mine gives me the same results with this strap or the original strap...

nato strap

I also decided to order nato strap for samsung G S5.
Here is a photo of a strap, which I get:

I will describe a strap. It is thick enough, the buckles are solid. Looks like very quality. I bought a strap with 22 mm width. As I understand, there are a lot of different nato straps. So if you want to order like I have go here: http://tafstyle.com/14-zulu-straps

The last thing that I need to do is to cut for some hole for a sensor. Who know, how can I do this? With a help of knife?
