I hesitate to suggest it but verygreen has an unofficial CM11 install for SD (HD+ only) in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2600572
. Its not been updated since January 18, but I've been running it as my daily driver since then and its provided the most stable experience I've ever had on the HD+, as well as the snappiest with ART enabled. I've been running it from a Sandisk 16gb class 4 microsd and I used the Mini PA GAAPs that was current at the time. On EMMC I've previously used various versions of stock, CM 10.1, and CM 10.2. I currently have rooted stock on EMMC. The SD includes Cyanoboot and you can elect to boot from SD or EMMC at boot time without rebuilding the cache.
