Hello gentlemen, I have this increasingly annoying issue with my phone. So I live in an area where there is minimal signal (~100-120dbm). So my parents, and I assume other people as well, have been texting me all week, but I haven't received anything! I'm missing a good +10 text messages. They're in limbo it seems. I can't seem to be able to retrieve those lost messages when I'm in an area of good signal though. I'll restart my phone when I'm around campus and nothing will happen. Is there a way to force these text messages to come through?

In case anyone is wondering here are me details:

2.15
Carbon KK 1.0.7
Torched 4.0
Gapps Minimal 4/16

And yes, I did see the other thread... I made this one because the other guys hardware and software were all different. I'm not using any third party messengers either. Just the good ol Messaging app

Have you contacted your carrier? It might just be a case of resetting your phone on their network.

I haven't. The issue is that the signal quality fluctuates hourly. I can send text messages and receive them just fine when I'm on campus. When I'm at my apartment, I can sometimes send text messages and I can receive from who I send to.

I'd definitely contact your carrier and see what they have to say about it

I agree,I am the OP from the other thread and I fixed my problem by switching to Karbon Rom. I also switched my apn settings to 'phone' instead of the 'pta' thatwas set to on Viper. Im also on AT&T
