The problem is that he cannot get into fastboot mode. The volume down key isn't working. So, he cannot use any fastboot commands

I Googled a lot but I can't find anything please if you can help me or send me the link I would thank you a lot lot lot.

Since you cannot get into fastboot mode, the fastboot commands are absolutely useless. Try this:
Let your phone boot up normally in safe mode. Enable usb debugging in settings-developer (Tap on build number 7 times to activate developer mode)
Then, on your computer, open the fastboot/adb folder
Connect your phone through the usb cable and type:
'adb reboot bootloader'
without quotation marks. Now see if u can get into fastboot
