I have no idea why my device will not go to sleep!

I mean it does, but something keeps waking it.

Wakelock Detector says the process that keeps the phone up the most is diagnostics.client.Wakelock

BetterBatteryStats says the same thing. It has a wake time of 9 hours and 20 minutes, out of 11 hours and 42 minutes since the phone was last disconnected from power.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick guess that it's Google now or Facebook. check your alarms in bbs dropdown That gives a better breakdown of client.wakelocks and what causes them.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app

Apparently, some APPs cause this with the most recent versions of the stock AT&T ROM. I battled this issue since an early 2014 OTA. I had great battery life until that OTA.

Long story short, I rooted(Kingo), Safestrapped, and used X-NOTE version 7. The diagnostics.client.wakelock went away. I get 0.3 percent drain overnight and usually only use ten percent per day during normal usage.

I have tried other ROMs but they were AT&T based and gave me the same wakelocks.

I hope this is of some help.
