Cool Trying to update to 4.4 kitkat (NOOB)

Hey fellas,

I want to update to the latest firmware (4.4 kitkat) on a rooted 4.1.2 GT-N7100 but i'm totally confused and i have no idea how to start...

I tried searching around and i keep seeing different methods to update if you're phone's rooted, like first thing is to reset the counter then select full unroot from SuperSU, then update to latest FW, or just install the latest FW right away without unrooting, etc.

What is the safest and correct way?

Also i'm not sure about the Custom ROM and Custom Recovery versions on my phone, how can i find out what they are?

Easiest way is:

If Rooted already - Download and Flash DN3 ROM and good to go
If not rooted check the android dev section on note 2 on how to root phone>install TWRP v7>and then install DN3 ROM

DN3 ROM | Bunglebp Custom Theme | Custom Pull down Menu

Previously Sungsonic ROM with Redpill Kernel and O/C 1.8ghz but now Upgraded
Previous Phone Galaxy S3
