Hi,

I'm just flash correctly my Note 2. I've installed RR-KK-5.1.0, but Samsung apps is not included on!
For this reason I've reset my Gear 2 neo 5D6A then I've download Gear Manager apk and๒ install it manually.

I've followed Samsung steps to set up booth Gear to Note 2.

The BASIC bluetooth association has gone successfully, but Gear manager app can't recognize Gear device.

In this moment i can't use my Gear 2 neo.

Someone has the sane problem?

Thanks

The Gear stuff only works with a stock Samsung ROM, because AOSP ROMs don't have the Samsung TW framework to go with Samsung's proprietary apps.

Thank u Vantt1 for your answer!

In your opinion, how time we have to wait for use Gear 2 neo & others with Resurrection Remix 5.1.0 and latest version?

Is possible to get technical details about of our problem?

Thanks

Well, forever. Although both AOSP and Samsung ROMs are technically both Android ROMs, AOSP doesn't have the software dependencies that allows it to run apps designed for Samsung ROMs. Even though Android is an open source project, Samsung's ROM is not. AOSP is AOSP, and Samsung is Samsung. If you want to use proprietary Samsung apps, you'll need a stock Samsung ROM or a custom stock ROM.
