Touch screen problems! :(
My nexus 7 is under a year old and I have been having problems where the screen, after a period of the device being turned on, stops registering lots of touches unless you press quite hard and there are about five 'ghost touches' every time I press it. Strangely this stops if in start charging it or restart it. I emailed Google several months ago and they told me to clear the cache partition, which I did, and that should fix it. Which it did, for a few weeks but then it happened again. I have not really been bothered by it as I could just restart it bus as it is coming towards the end if my warranty I am debating taking it back. It does not happen regularly but it is annoying when it does. It is also triggered by many of the patterns in nexus 7 II tester (http://bit.ly/1nWtxIk
) and I have to restart it even if I exit the app. Looking at the reviews of the app it seems this is common but people do not have to restart their devices to stop it, they can just exit the pattern.
Has anybody else had this problem and is there a fix without factory resetting it or taking it back?
Thanks a lot
