Sprint finally shipped my replacement M8.

I know how to check for reconditioned status if I turn it on using ##786#

But I'd like to sell it "Sealed". And list it as appropriate (new or refurb).

Will it come in a brown paper bag or something to identify it as refurb? Or will it have something in the Serial Number to ID it?

I know Asurion only gives brand new replacements in original packaging. For refurbished, it's a regular package. Could be the same for sprint .

Every brand new replacement I have gotten came sealed in factory box; Every refurb has been shipped in a generic Sprint device box.

I was a technician for Sprint. If it's a new phone, it will come in the original OEM box. If it is refurbished, it will come in a think small white box (sometimes having a sprint logo on it) and your phone will be in a bubble wrap sleeve.

If it's being mailed to your house you'll know. If you have to pick it up at a Sprint store, try and make sure you see the box it was in. Quite often, if a customer mentioned anything about the condition, the manager and sales team would take refurbished phones out of the box and bubble wrap and claim it to be a new phone. Since its a "replacement" you don't get the box or accessories.

Good luck!
